Taco Bamba Rockville

I honestly couldn’t wait to post this review. Wow, just wow. Taco Bamba in Rockville left an unforgettable impression on me. When I first walked in, I wasn’t entirely sold—the casual setup of ordering at the counter and getting a number wasn’t my favorite. However, I opted to sit at the bar for full service, and I’m so glad I did. I arrived around 6:30 PM, just as happy hour was wrapping up, but that didn’t deter me from enjoying every moment of the experience. The prices were very reasonable, making it even more appealing. At first, the bartender, Jesicca, was a bit reserved, but as the evening went on, she warmed up and provided wonderful service. To start, I ordered the Mexican street corn, and let me tell you—it was absolutely delicious! I’d happily order it again and again. For my main course, I chose the Fauda Taco and the Turkish Wrestler, and I have to say, I’ve eaten at countless restaurants, but the flavors in these tacos were unlike anything I’ve ever experienced. The Fauda Taco, in particular, was pure heaven. Every bite was an explosion of incredible flavors. It’s hard to put into words just how amazing it was! Overall, I was beyond thrilled with the food—it was creative, bold, and utterly delicious. However, there were a couple of drawbacks. The heating wasn’t working, and on a freezing cold night (14F outside!), we had to keep our coats on. Additionally, the restrooms seemed to be neglected, likely due to the lack of traditional table service. The sink water was icy, and there was no toilet paper available, which was disappointing. Despite these minor inconveniences, the exceptional food and reasonable prices make Taco Bamba a spot I’ll definitely return to. I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for a truly unique and flavorful taco experience. Just bundle up if you’re visiting on a cold day!

The tacos were fire. I had one of my coworkers tell me to try them. I did and I do not regret it. I went 2 times for lunch in my 5 day work trip I took, that’s how good it was. Both times, I got the Chicken Tinga tacos, dirty style. They were phenomenal. The hot sauces provided are good as well. The first time I went, I ordered an Elote. I wasn’t a huge fan of it to be honest. It was missing something - something like spice. The second time I went, I tried the churros. I had them when they were a little cold but they were still good. I feel like if they were warm, they’d be better. I ordered an Horchata both times I went. The first time, they ran out and gave me a mango juice. It was good. It tasted homemade and natural. The second time, I got the horchata. Same situation, it tasted homemade and natural. It was delicious. I will definitely be back here if I’m in the DMV again.

Great Mexican food with a reasonable price and quick service. make sure to order Bamba fries and tacos dirty style

Ordered on uber eats for lunch. The tacos I got from here were excellent!! Goat birria, barbacoa, lengua and carne Asada all were flavorful and cooked to perfection. I only wish they included a salsa in there with my Uber eats. I also got a bottle of the horchata which was good but too sweet for me. Overall, enjoyed my order and absolutely recommended this business.

Food is really good. I've been coming here for over three years and have never been disappointed. The crab tacos are amazing. My only issue is a faint, stinky smell when you walk into the restaurant.

All taco bamba locations are amazing. We eat there several times a week. It's always good with fresh ingredients. Always pleased with my order except the one time I found a hair in my taco from the Alexandria location. Maybe cooks need to wear hairnets!?

I'm a big fan of this taco company. I have my regular location but I go to other locations for fun. They never disappoint. Just wish they had a spot in Colllge Park Maryland. Maybe one day.
